Read the Florida Constitution and ask your question again.

Don't fight it... leave the college kids these towns and take your adult self to the real world -- South Florida, Tampa, LA, Rio, Madrid, Seattle, NYC, etc.

I would love to know what makes S FL and Tampa the "real world" and Jax and Tally not.

Some folks dont like crowds, road rage and crabby retirees like you will find in St Pete and S FL.
If my wife were broke down on the highway and needed assistance, where do you think she would probably find it? Where is that guy (or gal) more likely to be to pull off the side of the road and change her flat tire for her? In a place in the panhandle or a place like Boca Raton or Boynton Bch? Just a thought.

Oh give me a break. The thing about "Southern Hospitality" is it's nothing more than the good ol' boys club. If you're not in the club, forget about it, you'll be left on the side of the road with a flat.
The most accommodating, least judgmental people are from the north. I think that's obvious, especially when you look at things like racism, gay marriage, etc. People up there would give you the shirts off their back... in the south they would sell it to you and go buy a pack of cigarettes and bottle of beer with the proceeds.

Since when has gay-marriage equalled giving some one the shirt off your back?
Toleration for sin is an awful thing. It's perhaps the least hospitable thing you can do for anyone, as it inevitably leads to Hell. Real Floridians will fix your flat, but they won't mollycoddle you as northernerners (or at least their bureaucrats) will, that's for sure.

Sounds like you're really one to be talking about who's judgemental.

Siesta, you must have a thing for "rednecks, hicks and bible thumpers" because it's obvious you like to take shots when you can.
There is no "club" that I am aware of... I've never paid to join any way. I know people throughout the southeast that would do anything to help someone. No, no racism is the north. Southern hospitality is a complete myth.
I'm not saying that people in the north cant be friendly or wont "give you the shirts off their back." I have found that places like Boca Raton and places like that in S FL have some of the nastiest, most rude and cranky people I've ever witnessed, and many agree. Not much southern hospitality to be found down there, that's for sure.
With all the comments you've made, I just have to ask again... Where you from again Siesta Bay? I have a pretty good guess with the comments you've been making, but prove me wrong Siesta Bay! I'm pulling for you!

I have done that before in Fort Lauderdale, even worse!!
Instead of comparing "where is it more likely", I think it's better to take action with that kind of thing.
