Ideally I would like to move in June of next year as soon as school lets out here.. Last day of school here is June 10th... I would like to be settled in asap so we can enjoy our new place and surroundings as well be ready for back to school!

I'm in Bluewater too and it really is a great area with everything from young families to retirees and a wide variety of types of houses. Problem for the original poster is that the prices reflect that, and it's hard to find single family homes there for less than $200K, which typically gets you a 3/2 1400sf house that either has no yard, really needs cosmetic and other updating, or both.

One thing to know about that area is that you do not have to live in Bluewater Bay proper to buy a membership to the pools, tennis centers, marina, and/or golf course. The area tends to lack for public recreation facilities outside of beach parks, and it's a nice option to have a pool or tennis membership if you don't want the fuss of driving onto base to use their pools and such.
