And the proposals in current form seem to shift tax burden even more onto the poorest Floridians.

The children of this state continue to be given the shaft again and again. I for one cannot wait to take our family out of here (and yes, we are trying thanks to a layoff).

They need to start funding our state universities better. We can't have them continue cutting funds from our universities, or they're going to have to cut more programs, colleges and schools. Well-funded public universities is crucial for Florida's future! Wake up Florida! Education has to be #1!

That's what you get for putting lawyers to run the state. The whole country is in decline so what else is new?

This legislature doesn't want to get labeled for raising taxes, but they seem to have no problem with "fees". I am so sick of special interest groups getting the breaks, then we have to make up the difference. I hope this bunch is voted out 100% next time around.

Voted out and replaced by puppets specially selected by special interests. When you have a limited, pre-approved choice at election time is there really a choice? Florida voters are also the least courageous of all the bubble-headed states si it is no wonder that independant, qualified citizens have no chance at all.

When did Florida ever have a good legislature? When has Florida ever truly progressed beyond housing and construction? If it did it wouldn't be in this condition.
