Default Our friends just emailed us about this 40% hike State approved for Water and Insurance in Florida

Ok so are they talking about Home Owners insurance??

and does it depend where in florida you are as far as costs?
and im assuming it also depends where you live regarding what you pay for water???

I haven't heard about this yet. I'm not sure if they are talking HO Insurance, as it's already one of the highest in the country, and there are so few insurers here.
I am going to guess no b/c Christ just told Allstate and some other deregulated insurance co's to take a hike b/c they were willing to write in FL again, but under deregulation. Christ said no. So, I'm guessing it might be auto, and other riders.

The stopped insuring Long Island (ALL of it) years ago; even the North Shore. "Due" for a hurricane and flooding. I lived 5 miles from the Sound, not the Ocean, and there were CLIFFS. It wasn't flat land. 5 miles and cliffs? What flooding?

Find another insurance company. We did there and here.
