Default Where is there a good place to live?

I read through these posts and can't find a city worth moving to. I live in Miami...since 72...moved to two other places and then back here..I am considering moving because of the high cost of living...but don't know where to go. I do love it here, especially the neighborhood I live in. I don't want to move unless I can find a place similar to Miami without the added problems. Is there such a place?

Similiar to Miami in what way? If you are looking to move wouldn't a place the opposite of Miami be preferred?

I moved to Raleigh, NC....it's not on the ocean, but isn't that far from the beach and has a lot to do, in my opinion it's MUCH better than Miami or S. Florida. Great malls, shopping centers, decent nightlife, etc. Cost of living is pretty cheap also. It's worth looking in to.
