That beach is gorgeous!!! It's been many years since I've been to a beach in the Panhandle....we went to Panama City Beach often when we lived in south Georgia. But that was 25 years ago, I bet it's changed alot since then.
Thanks for sharing the great pictures, Sunrico!
PS...I spent the afternoon poolside, swimming, reading and talking to my mom on the phone. DH got home about the time I came in to cook dinner and he swam until dinner was done. I'm on spring break this week and so far it has been glorious! Hang on Jammie and nomoresnow....it won't be long!

Thanks, pianogal. The bad news is, it's sleeting/raining here right now, and we're expecting 2-6 inches of snow by tomorrow. :-(

Yes, Florida is not the cheap playground it was...but there are still many good reasons to live here. I'm getting ready to enjoy one! I hope some of you fellow Floridians can do the same soon.

Enjoy now (morning) and not in the afternoon, as it is going to be 91 today. Yesterday, when I got in my car (in the shade), my termostat was showing 92 degrees and it felt hotter than that!
With that said, we all know Minnesota weather sucks, but there are plenty of cooler places to live where you don't get all that snow, are cheaper, and you get to enjoy nicer weather than FL most of the time.
I honestly think Florida's weather is ONLY nice from the end of Dec to begining of March. Yes, it's nice because we don't freeze, but we pay dearly (expensive cost of living and suffer 9-months of excruciating and unwavering heat) to enjoy that 3-months of weather.

Maybe California, but we all know what the situation is there.
I've been swimming for awhile now in our unheated pool, and today was the first day that I could stay in for 25 minutes of laps.
The beach is beautiful. I'll worry about hurricanes later.

I dont really care about a pool. I would end up maintaining it (been there-done that- no thanks) But the beach is something natural- and a lake cannot compare!
Maybe N Cali has perfect weather? I hated the humidity of S Florida.
sunny.
