there isn't much middle or upper middle class in fl... mostly poor, lower middle class and very rich.

Florida is worse than Vermont for employment as far as opportunities and
pay scale. My Wife (Master D'greed Educator) and I (technical/artist) will be
moving just to get back to better work situations.
Every professional entity we've had experience here would have been unacceptable
in the NY, Philly NJ, DEL region of the NE, they dont even strive for 'mediocre', it seems.
I dont have the intense hatred of this state I did for the first two years I was here,
and actually found a routine to make it livable, but the fact remains Florida is killing
itself by only making sure developers are taken care of, so opportunities for technical
and educated ppl and giving them reasons to relocate from other states are just not going
to happen in our lifetimes.

100% Agree. You only live once, and I would rather live my life in an older much more established region.
