Haha, this cracked me up! I have to say I love palm trees, and I love that Florida has a surplus of them and areas like Orlando have a wide variety of trees! My mom is a horticulturist and she was very impressed with the plantlife here when she visited.

Central/northern Florida has plenty of trees/woods. In fact, it becomes very noticeable as soon as you pass through Orlando on the Turnpike.

We went to Orlando last weekend. Trees and actual bushes! Nowhere near as many palm trees as down here.

I remember staying in Inverness briefly (about an hour NW of Orlando, off I-75). The whole area around there is extremely "woodsy" and even more so when you drive E of Ocala (around Silver Springs, which is beautiful).

Hey I live on the edge of the Apalachicola National Forest. It's a sea of trees.

Ditto Ocala National Forest.

Are you kidding? Orlando always seems very "green" whenever we go up there.
