Default Referral fees

Can someone please explain to me what it means in Florida for a "RCRS Agent Referral Fee" and how this is different than a "Broker Referral Fee"?

I am trying to close on a lease for a condo and the guidelines from the developer list both fees.

I am familiar with real estate, albeit in other states, where the norm is for the seller to pay the broker referral fee. Is it legal in Florida for the developer to require me to pay the broker referral fee?

And the RCRS Agent Referral Fee is akin to where in other states, if a second broker refers a client then the closing broker will kick back a certain percentage to the referring agent. Is this the same in Florida?

IS it legal in Florida to pay the referral fee? IS it legal in Florida for the developer to require me to pay the referral fee? I thought that the closing broker paid the 20% kickback referral fee to the referring agent.

You should post this on the real estate forum. I believe there are quite a few local realtors that could answer your question. When my home was up for sale someone tried to pull this with me after her clients looked at my home. She said that I would have to pay the buyers agent in Georgia. He referred the buyers to her and she was passing the fee on to me as the seller. I said good luck cause I wasn't paying it.
