Negatives about Florida (real estate, insurance, wages)

Well since everyone who wants to move here thinks that it is paradise. If you have been here for five years or more what has changed that you do not like?

I don't like the high RE taxes and HOI rising. Also don't like the water restrictions that most people don't follow. Don't like all the people moving in that complain about how bad it is. If you don't like it go home.

Greed and Selfishness !!!

Some people are flat out greedy and selfish, those who sold their homes for mega bucks when the high end market was there are now the ones complaining about high cost of insurance etc.

Those people didn't complain when they made allot of money on real estate.

As for some of you that see your state eroding, it is not anyone fault that does not live there, I may be wrong but I see our tourist money doing allot of good things, no way would the state make it without our money, you all state the job market is horrible, col is out of control, can you imagine if you took ALL of the tourist money out of the state, it would look like a dump in no time.

RV... I do understand you do not like to be crowded out, I wouldn't either, but why didn't you buy up land before this all happened, you had to know it was coming?

I am having a hard time understanding why do people not from Florida get blamed for the ails in Florida when we have no say or vote in what you do in your state?

For me when the time comes to live in Florida, I love Florida as much as you and would do anything I could to preserve the old Florida culture etc.

If anything those living in Florida have the voice, the ultimate say in what happens. We have no choices, but no one complains when we bring our money down.

I do not understand, please fill me in because I am one who loves Florida enough to never vote to ruin something in the Florida history.

I feel as though I have never done anything to harm Florida, if anything I have spent tons of money in your state, tons of it and it I am sure gave people jobs, paved roads, fixed water problems etc.

I am not in Florida but it would get very old to me not to be able to group together and stop something that you all have the right to.

Sure Taxes etc are out of control, wages suck etc, but its not my fault.

______________Because for the last few years we have had corruption all the way to the capital. For that matter what state gave George W the election time before last. Florida the one with all the voting scandals run by his brother. Money talks here not votes. They get lost.
