Unhappy Home Insurance in South Florida

Our home insurance has been cancelled. Never had a claim. We are due for renewal in July 2007. We're in a crisis in South Florida. Can't find companies to write home insurance. If they are writing the rates are going thru the roof. What do we do? People can't afford to live in Florida. Our government has been of no assistance at all. They talk a good game with no results. The people must take the bull by the horns and try to make something happen in Florida. Maybe we can get action. Write your Congressmen and the Governor. If they receive enough flack maybe they'll understand that we need help. They are more concerned about the Insurance Companies making money. All input is appreciated.
