Do you like Florida's climate?
I prefer 4 seasons over subtropical/tropical weather at any time.
Florida's weather is too hot & humid, and rainy!

I could never live in a climate like Florida. I am much more happy having four clearly defined seasons.
I would much rather be in a climate like this
Than burning to death at a flaming hot beach.

Florida is a big state. Why is every thought of Florida south Florida? The state is over 500 miles long and has two time zones.

I would love to live in a place that has a cooler climate. The almost year round summer temps in South Florida is really no conducive for me to do outdoor activities like I would love to do. I would love to sit outside and not get sticky during the summer months. San Fran temps is what I wish we had. Year round 60 degree temps.

floridas climate is in reverse...meaning the good weather is during the winter when the days are short and it gets dark early and the miserable 5 months are over the summer when the days r long, it stays light til 8pm and the rest of the country is out and about loving life in the spirit of summer...strange

I'm up in Flagler County and maybe it's different down south, but we definitely have 4 seasons up here. They're not as obvious as up north, but if you are even a little observant, you can see and appreciate them.
I'm not a warm weather person and I was a little nervous (weather-wise) about moving here, but we moved here in August and so far I love it. I think summer in Cleveland is more uncomfortable than August in Florida.

But it's still very hot and humid for a large part of the year, no matter if in Fernandina Bch or Miami, the panhandle or Central FL. I put "No, too hot and humid," but I dont hate it. I hate the looooong summers, but I like it a lot from October to March, so I'm pretty much in the middle.

I miss the true seasons you find in a more northern climate. We plan to leave Florida the first chance we get. The humidity is brutal!
