Thank you! They sound nice! We are looking for an area that is warmer, that someone mentioned. Not chilly. I think it was Ocala? Also, something outside of the hustle and bustle. Near the beaches, but not smack in the middle of them. I could drive maybe 1 mile to 10 miles to the beach. Or a few beaches. We only have 2 close ones, here. and they are about 3 hours away, so it will be a nice change. I'm not sure about coast. Whick one is the better one? And why?

Default Marianna

Marianna is a town well worth considering. Official nick name is "The City of Southern Charm". The people are very friendly, the kind you expect to see coming to your door with a pie in their hand to welcome you. Good schools and a great 4 year college. A town full of history especially the Civil War era. Fla caverns and river near by and plenty of hiking trails. They have restored the downtown area as it was many years ago. Several horse stables in the area. Cost of living is much less in Marianna than other areas of Fla. I lived there several years ago and would gladly return today if possible.

UPDATE....Since I posted, My Sister and Mother moved to Sarasota and Bradenton. Me and my family visited them, in 2012. We loved it! Went to Disney World, bought a timeshare, all that... Now, we are moving to North Port. We have to sell our house, here in MA, first.....
