I didn't. You never bothered to read my post for what it actually was -- an interpretation of your own attitude, and not my own.

I would never ever move to the northeast and try and chnge the people up north. I would also never move to new york and bring my southern views up there and than tell the local new yorkers to move if they dont like my southern views...... wow arraogant she is
This is truly sad. Don't put words in my mouth.

The original post calls for an argument. Why don't we just say this.

Florida like many USA towns and cities has great cities and towns that are rather friendly. What are some of the ones you have discovered. (please keep negative remarks out of your answer).....

How about it?

The culture in the Northeast differs from that in the South and in the Midwest in that people are less likely to engage in "friendly" chatter in public with complete strangers. I have encountered many southern transplants to NYC who do not "adapt" to the way things are done here, but instead run their mouths at whoever is standing next to them on the grocery line, as if I feel like having a 5-minute conversation with someone I've never seen before in my life.
and once again you have made my point for me!!!! you refuse to have a conversation with someone in the grocery line because you dont know them????? My point is New Yorkers are rude and will not speak with you. I would rather live in a place where strangers are friendly towards one another and people will talk and laugh together. Just because I dont know you does not mean I cant wave or start a conversation while we are waiting in line. Wow you are rude rude rude rude. Stay up north we dont want rude people down here

Who says this flag is a symbol of racism??? This comes from northerners and lets not forget the winners of wars right the history books! The flag is a symbol of proud southerners who stood up to a cruel and evil government. This war was not about slavery....... Last but not least, you New Yorkers are slowly but surely proving our points about being rude....... You hate when strangers talk to you in the grocery line????? Really, your not very friendly are ya? thats what we are saying people from the northeast are not very nice. One last point most southerners did not even own slaves so why in the world would they fight in a war for something they did not even own???? The answer is they would not fight for this reason, but they did fight against a invading yankee army... learn your history..... I hope our huge confederate flag (worlds largest) located in Tampa offends every single northerner..

Isn't this a thread about NAPLES? I have never seen the Confederate Flag in Naples. These posts are totally irrelevant to this "city". This place may as well be Michigan, Mexico, or Haiti for as much as it is the "South". This place is Transplant City, be that from Michigan, Mexico, Haiti, Canada, England, or wherever. The only southerners you see here are MORE TRANSPLANTS, from maybe Alabama, Georgia, Tennesee, just like ALL THE OTHERS.

So telling New Yorkers to get out of Naples is absurd. Tell all the other transplants from all over the country and the WORLD to get out too.
