Default Naples, Florida Looking for a house to rent

We are looking for a house to rent in Naples, Florida (golden gate estates area, or in a nice gated community). It must be a short term lease. We need something for a few months, until we find our dream home and do not want to be stuck in a lease for a year. Anyone know of a good, reliable realtor that deals with rentals?
I found 2 different sites on the net and ironically, I think they were both fake sites. They had different pictures of houses for rent with the same exact interior and pool pictures. I even called and confronted (I was not nasty at all, just questioned their photos and explained what I found) the pretend realtor and was told, I would be contacted shortly by her partner...never heard from him.

So, any help from you locals out there would be highly appreciated!!
Thanks!

agencies also have rentals. Short term rentals, especially in season, are very common. John R. Woods is probably the largest agency in Naples. Then there Amerivest and also Prudential. If you are also looking to buy a home, you might like to contact the bigger agencies who could help you with both renting and buying.

When we rented out our condo for 3 months in season, we used an agent who specializes in just short term rentals for snowbirds, business travellers, relocation, etc. They are in Ft. Myers, but cover Naples and Marco also. If you don't want to go with a big real estate agency, let me know and I will find her card. She is very nice.

Don't worry you will be able to get a short lease while looking to buy in Naples. It's done all the time. The couple we rented to came here specifically to rent while looking to buy on Marco.

Good luck.

Thank you so much. I called a big name company like you suggested, and they will be helping me. We sold our house today and will be settling in Sept. So I figure now is a good time to start looking for that rental...as well as a new home.

Thanks again,

Kristin
