Default As I said, living here you have to be grateful

for little things. At least the heat index won't be 105 degrees. And I do have my 40s at night where I can sit outside in the dark in my pj's. Pitiful what I have to be grateful for.

Anything below 60 degrees sucks. The sauna-like atmosphere of humidity pwns the oven-like feeling of dry heat, when your cheeks burn and your eyes dry out at the first blast of dry heat....

Hey TAN, careful now. Don't let the heat and humidity put you in jeopardy...what with pythons and alligators running loose!

And we're moving to Florida in November.

I cannot take another winter in Florida.

And we can't take one in New Jersey.

Ungrateful me.
Stop congratulating yourself.

I can't wait for the humidity to just disappear. Looking forward to the 60's and 70's during the day. 50's at night.

Glad to know you are coming back. You will be so happy to leave depressing Florida.

Yes I still like MA, always have, always will, it's my home. New England is my favorite place, If I could take where I am working/living and drop in western MA, I would have the perfect life at this time. I just feel more positive now with where I am here in Estero. I know I will end up in New England again some day. For now I will just be grateful for what I have.

I am sick of bbq. I am sick of salads. I tried making boiled pork, potatoes, and sauerkraut. The SWEAT was just dripping off me. My AC just couldn't handle all this cooking. It was on CONSTANTLY and read 81 degrees in the house.

I thought I would make something we enjoyed up north, but I guess not. It's too HOT to cook inside in Florida. Well, at least I will be in NY for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I can keep the OVEN on for HOURS if I want.

Guess I am stuck with salads until I move.
