I realize that something will have to be done. We have been in a drought for years now in Sarasota, but maybe if I didn't know what I was drinking it wouldn't bother me as much.

Florida has a serious water shortage problem. That is usually what happens to a place when you allow unconstrained growth without any sense of urban development. Either way, drinking sewage water may become a necessity. A little ingested urine never hurt anyone and rumor has it, it is good for the eys.

I think most people buy water to drink directly or to mix with tea/coffee/juice. Tap water is mainly used for other things. If tap water is also used for cooking, it has a chance to boil again.

yeah but its sorta of a mental thing to get your head around the fact you are using water that once had feces and God knows what else floating in it, you know?

Drinking the leftovers from the toilet at your local mexican restaurant or place where spicy foods are sold kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth as a consumer...

The kicker... As a taxpayer and having the privilege to pay for "city water" you get to pay to drink ----....
