I just would be interested to see how many posters on this board either love Florida or hate Florida.

Either you do or you don't.

Thank you for your input.

I loved the old Florida. When it was sparse and uninhabited in most parts during the 60's, 70's and 80's. and part of the 90's. Now it is overgrown, overpopulated and too expensive for most of us. So we moved to North Georgia and live better for our budget and the mountains are beautiful in their own way. I still visit Florida because I still have family there but it is not the beautiful place it used to be, maybe for some who have never experienced the Florida experience it might be great to you and you might love it, but for me I have a new place I enjoy and my memories of growing up in the Old Florida a beautiful place back then and I did love it.

Love it. Been here for 25 yrs and only went back to Long Island to visit once. It is getting expensive but when everyone goes to NC, GA or TN, those places will be expensive also.

I think you need an in betwee. I don't love it or hate it. I think it's nice... but love is a strong word and I don't think I'd say I "love" it... but I certainly don't hate it either. Why such extremes, can't we have something in between? :-)

You needed to add more options. Having said that, I have often said that Florida is a place you either like it or hate it - love is too strong a word.

I do love the sunsets and sunrise, the sky at night when its clear and you can count every star - there are so many things - love the birds, my home.

This poll puts the grumblers into perspective.

I love it. No place is perfect, but I've explored moving and chose to stay in this imperfect state.

I love Florida....of course I also love Tennessee, North Georgia, Western North and South Carolina, Virginia, Lancaster County, PA and Colorado. I could see my self living in any of these places. The only place I've lived that I would not want to live again is California and that is only because this Southern girl had a hard time adjusting to the people there. I was young at the time - perhaps it would be different now.

God's creation is beautiful everywhere IMHO - and I've always found fun things to do, satisfaction and enjoyment wherever I happen to be planted.
