Post Sorrento Opinions
Just saw a house on the internet last night in Sorrento Florida. Looks to be close enough for hubby to commute to Tavares, but I don't know anything else about the city. Opinions appreciated!

I don't know much about living there, but I always thought Sorrento was a neat little town driving through it.... Kind of rural, but within driving distance of civilization (20 minutes from Seminole Town Center Mall in Sanford, etc..)

Sorrento is a nice small town with not much there but only minutes away from Mt.Dora. The commute to Tavares wouldn't be too bad. Maybe 20-25 minutes. It's also not too far from the Seminole Town mall and only 15 minutes from the 429 beltway. It is rural, but growing subdivisions up the 441 corridor and also on 437, the route from Sorrento to Apopka.

I know a few people who live there and LOVE it. There are lots of horse people up there.
