It says "Anyone move OUT of Florida and then back"? I did that. It implies a given (WANT TO) that is not necessarily true.

and I am not going to post it again. It was based on the number of new drivers licenses being issued and the number of van lines moving people out versus in. It was from 2007.

In fact is has grown by millions of people since 2000.

The population is shifting from the north/midwest to the southeast and southwest.

Florida is growing, not declining.

2008 population is
Fla. 18,328,340

2000 population was
Fla. 15,982,813

Florida has grown in population since 2000 by 2,345,527
people.

I don't care whether you post information that proves nothing again.

Floridas population still increased even after taking out deaths and births.

This shows that more people moved in than out.

Sure be proud of that, along with everyone complaining about the crowds and traffic (ask the ones who are clamoring for us "bashers" to leave to alleviate the overcrowding). As I said, even when people leave, the problems will remain. And are you part of that 2,345,527 and counting? What's keeping you since you MISS it so much? You can fill the void I leave behind in about 2-1/2 years. Find a job downtown and try and find a house around Avalon, Waterford Lakes, or Stoneybrook, and use the either the 50 or 408 to commute to work on a daily basis, you'll love it!

OMGoodness

Drivers license and van lines are now the official population count. Bet the politicians will love that new twist.

Hey lets take a look at the Van Lines to see who is now in my district!

Goodness TanNaples /Hockeymom72 if you are going by Van Lines taking people out of Florida then you have no clue what the heck is going on outside of your home.

What a catch 22, all the bashers here say there is no money in Florida but yet tell us that someone can afford a van lines to move them out!! If it is as bad as you all tell us no one could afford a van line to move them out starting with fees at 3,000 to take you across town let alone across country.

READ ABOVE, Florida has grown in population.

I do not know if that is good or bad for anyone but these bashers cannot argue that everyone is moving out when 2 million more people have moved in.

FACTS ARE FACTS, twist them all you want.

Just for you Tannaples, NY has LOST population during this same time period.

The bottom line here is, if people dont like it then leave and dont go back, and stop talking crap about how much u hate it and WHY everyone else should too...I MEAN hello people really really do love living there..despite what u people may think....that goes for anywhere....your entitled obviously to have an opinion but that is just YOUR not u persay in "general" opinion and that is ok, but dont ruin it for others who want to go back, people move there for alot of reasons which I feel do not have to be justified to anyone especially on a message board...

and instead of complaining all the time, move on....

If they want to go back, then just to back and let them find out for themselves. I have not actively bashed FL, I had some good times here, but for every good thing, there are bad things down here as well. If the cons were not mentioned along with the pros, then you call that balanced? If everyone just posts how great it would be to live down here then it ends up just being a sales job. These people are grownups, and for them to base their decision on this board of all things, with people who have nothing else better to do than argue (including myself), then they have a big problem.

Get on a plane come down here, book a hotel for at least a week, and find out for yourselves people. While you're at it, drive down I4 in any direction, as well as on State Road 50, between the hours of 4 PM - 6 PM on any day, this should give you an idea whether or not you can deal with the traffic down here.
