I see things are the same on the Florida threads.... LOL. Lots of bickering.

I'm on my way back for a job making $47K, as of right now I am making $324 every other week on unemployment, so I'll be quite happy returning to Florida for a job, even though I love it up here in MA.

YES... and it was STUPID... thought I would give it round 2, wanted a bit of warm weather, close to family... but once again! No good paying jobs to be found! And my gf who came here with it absolutely hates it. Left when done with university in 2002, now back ... still sucks! More old people, more attitudes, more rednecks!
Will be outta here in June soon as I wrap up what I am currently doing. Going as far away as I can get to SF Bay Area, California!
Ahh back to some real culture... and truly nice weather.

Well good luck to you...and I hope you never have to grow old, develop an attitude about anything, or deal with the vast variety of Americans labeled "rednecks" who, varied as they are, have been the vanguard of America for centuries, and helped to make this a great country.

Hope SF does it for you, buddy.

Best.

Yes redneck h.s. dropouts contribute so much to society. Transient snowbirds who made all their money up north contribute so much to the Florida economy. I am referring to North FL and Central inland FL when I post btw... I think it has all the bad aspects of the south, and all the bad aspects of Florida. For most people between 20-50 FL who don't have family here FL is probably the absolute worst place to be.

I am curious if the other H.S. dropouts, that are not considered Rednecks, contribute more or less to society than the aforementioned Redneck H.S. dropouts.

of course, I am not referring to southern people, as I said, FL to me offers the worst aspects of the south and you don't get "real" southern culture like you would say in other areas. But, no, they don't and probably less as down here they are often more racist than other parts of the country.

All HS dropouts whether redneck or not are in the same boat, they are ALL hurting society.
Rednecks is just one part of this group of people, there is a far worse group ( by the numbers) then any "redneck" but it is ok to mention the rednecks who are total losers but it is not politically correct to post the other groups.

It is easy to point everything at the rednecks because it is ok to say it. But if anyone of us would mention the complete opposite group of a redneck it would not be right.

All of these people and their parents are a drain on our society, if any parent allows their child to drop out of HS then they are also a drop out as they just born us another generation of losers who will never contribute to America.

All HS dropouts should be forced to go into the military, go through double boot camp, forced to learn something and become decent men and women who then will see they need to be a part of our society, since mom and dad failed at it, maybe the military can show them the way.
