That may not be as bad as you think. First it is listed to $89,000 not $99,000 and I am sure you can get it for less. It says there is a trailer along with the fixed structure and they are producing $900. a month in rents. If you live in the trailer you have a legitimate rental that will pay some of your bills, that has value. Not to mention we don't know the actual value of the land. An added rental can be pretty sweet. You may be able to build on the property and still retain the fixed structure as a rental since they mention they have two address, that has value, that's why they mention it. You have to look at the whole picture, they aren't trying to just sell a shed on a lot, it may have more going for it that would appeal to the right buyer.

Thanks, macguy. I posted something similar earlier, as I live here in town, but I guess it was just funnier for people to make fun of it. This is actually a very good buy, probably the best in town.

Hahaha, it is fun to poke at, but, gypsychic, You are right.
macguy, it must have been reduced, because it was 99K yesterday, so 89K is better yet.
Dade City is cute!! The hubby works on that Pasco Power Plant every once in a while, so we had considered looking for a home there.

You know my friend bought a house like this one in LI 13 years ago, when the prices soared up here she gutted it and went up with it, the house went from being a shack to a gorgeous 5 bed house.

In Fort Lauderdale they do that. They buy a house and can often get away with doing things by keeping a certain percentage of the original structure. There is one place near me where the original house is actually inside the new house. I am not sure what the overall advantages are maybe some kind of grandfathered stuff.

I think the advantage is now she bought the house for85,000 and it is worth close to 480,000. She only put 150,000 into it.
