For $24K, I would think it is a real bargain! (Your question is kinda like asking if you can get a steak dinner at McDonalds!)

I am probably not going to be a lot of help. All I can tell you is that it looks like a very nice place from the outside. I have never been inside the rooms though. It does sound like a great price.

What ever they tell you about short term rentals, don't buy it. Don't expect to make a red cent of profit. if you can't comfortably pay for it, including all fees, don't do it.

The management will always rent teh units they still own first. Unless you want to give up all of the prime weeks, you will probably see less than 10 weeks a year of bookings.

Don't know anything about rentals, etc., but the building is old...I spent my honeymoon there in 1968 when it was a hotel. So be careful that the condos are what you have in mind.

Do not buy a second home/vacation property if you can't cover every dime of the cost without relying on rental income.

Is it beachfront? Look out for high ins. rates and monthly maintenance. Remember one thing about Florida....easy to buy, sometimes impossible to sell, especially condo's with their high monthly maintenance fees! I heard beachfront monthly maintenance fees can go as high as 2,000 a month and more, depending on the city!
Beware and do your research!
