Without actual numbers I would say it will be high. Insurance companies go by probability. Looks to have a high probability

It's going to vary based on how close you are to Escambia Bay or other waterways, how high above sea level the lot is, and the whim of company to company. My guess would be that you generally pay less if you're north of 90 than if you're south of it.

Call an insurance agent in Pace. Even if someone here gives you a ballpark figure, it could be way off. You need to get a quote for a certain area, type of home (construction), etc. Only an agent can give you that information.

It could be a lot. Before I dropped my coverage in Fort Lauderdale mine jumped to $7800.00 a year. Regardless the number it will not be cheap. You will have about a $3000.00 deductible right off the top.

Go to securityfirstflorida.com, go to "get an instant rate quote" and type in the zip code etc...your quote may not be exact, but will give you an idea and then call their consumer services number for an accurate quote.

Just so you know, I live in Panama City Beach, about 1/2 mile from the Gulf, in a stucco house built in 2003 to the new building code standards. It's 2100 sq. feet and I have it insured for $263000, with a 2% deductible, for about $1300 a year. I live in Flood Zone X. I think we're at about 20 feet above sea level here.
