Interestingly, I knew some people in college (and one afterwards) who were very heavy partiers, and told me they had tried freebase a few times. But they didn't become addicted. Their main thing was alcohol and pot, so they had no urge to use it again. I don't know what the difference is between freebase and crack. But having said all that, obviously it's something you should never touch, even one time, because you might love it.

Oh, no! Not my husband. I am so sorry. I meant that my sister-in-law and her husband were drug addicts. They say they don't do it anymore, but we've heard through the family that they do. They are still in Florida.

But thank you for the kind words.

REALLY! I had to look at the date of this OP, as crack hasn't been a major prob in ages. Meth, maybe, in some areas, but not crack.

Crack is last century.

Moderator cut: Personal Attack Camden is bad. Even during the daytime Camden is bad. There isn't any "nice" section of Camden.

I dont know anyone that says Camden is a nice place. I've never been there - have no desire to - but have heard nothing but bad things.

Crack is from the outlet store, freebase comes from Saks. Not everyone who smokes cocaine will become addicted. I disagree with the "take one hit and you're an addict" theory as well. If you have an "addictive personality", issues that you resolve by using pills or alcohol, I'd put my money that should you get a taste of "smoking" and get the good stuff, you might not be able to walk away from it as easy as someone who's just experimenting.
