HI, I am relocating to Florida in December. Single mom with 2 children (11 and 12). Looking for good schools and safe areas. Will not live in bad area. I am a practical nurse hoping a job wouldn't be hard to find. Renting first until we decide we like the area. Can't come down and look at places to live and going by website photos isn't reliable. Can't know if a place is clean, safe, and in a nice area w/o some help. Any suggestions and information appreciated!
Traffic problems are just about everywhere but long commutes I don't want. Doing research on certain areas has led me to the Longwood/Lake MAry area, and I see that Seminole schools are excellent. We hate being cold up here in the north, tired of snow and ice, and we got very few days above 80 this summer.The kids favorite sport is swimming and we love the idea of being warm all year!
