Never heard of this but thought it an important article to post for information and protective purposes. Especially since home equity is the most valuable asset for most Florida homeowners these days.....

It's amazing that the government has time to fine people if they don't cut their grass but can't prosecute criminal acts like this. If I had my way all home equity borrowing would be eliminated.

People that prey on others should rot in jail. I even see on some of the forums people hoping for others to go into foreclosure so they can get a "deal" do they ever think those people lose there houses because of illness or job loss and there is usually children involved? or elderly? I hate people that prey on others misfortune.

Sadly it happens all the time and no one group is to blame....... Not picking on liberals, but they seem to be pretty self-righteous as far as hating big oil and being disgusted with Halliburton and such and then these same people go out and buy stock in???? You guessed it...... Big oil and Halliburton.... Oh well.....

I am allowed to comment on the posts others make, no??? Simply giving other examples of people making $$$ off other's misfortunes referring to the foreclosure scenarios, NOT the equity stripping issue........
