Question Vacationing in Florida mid November, what is the warmest place on the ocean?

Never been to Florida.
I am looking to go mid November.

Does anyone know of the warmest weather and water temp to go that time of year?

Thanks

I suspect the Gulf side of the state a Naples will be the warmest. Miami temps may be higher but the Gulf water will be warmer.

I'd say the Keys. Palm Beach is warm, because that is where the Gulf Stream comes closest to the US mainland. Just miles offshore there.

Hi I am new here but have lived in Florida most of my life. I now live in the Florida Keys. For your question on water temps. The gulf side is never warmer as the temps drop to the 60's in the winter as if you where to come to Ft Lauderdale , Jupiter, or even the Keys the water temps will run in the 70's.
Also the outside temp very by a great deal. Say Tampa in the winter is really cold for me as they see sometimes the teens. Where here in South Florida we see temps at night in the mid 50's but the days are up in the 75-85.
I do hope this helps in your search.

Definitley the further south you go, especially along the east coast, the warmer its going to be and the warmer the ocean is going to be, because of the gulf stream, which runs closer inland the further south you go. So, I would probably concentrate on maybe Palm Beach down to the Keys. Anywhere north of Vero Beach has much more of a sub tropical climate, rather than the tropical climate of the southern part of the state.

Yes, the Gulf is warmer than the Ocean.

We RARELY get into the teens at night and that is likely to happen in the dead of winter, not in November. The record cold is EVER for Tampa is 18 degrees. The record low for November is 21 degrees. We have had a heat wave lately, but I hope that is ending soon.

The further south, the warmer the temps. In November, the water temps are likely to still be warmish. It depends on what you are use to as well. The water may feel comfy at 65 degrees. The Canadians come by in January when the water temps are in the lower 60's (in Tampa). They love it!

Thanks guys.

I am coming from Minneosota, so yes anything down there would be warmer than our winter months.

I was hoping to find something in the higher 70's at least air temp. Water temp swimmable.

thanks everyone for your replys
