College is free for children who have been adopted or have aged out of the Florida Foster care system.

I think this is fantastic for those kids .

"Homegrown Teachers" Fund. I believe Walmart donated money to promote college education to local students/residents. I don't know if this is just county or state wide.

I got an email at work about signing up for this. I am a TA and already have a 2 year Associates Degree. I also just found out that with this 2 year degree I am eligible to sub as a TEACHER at the rate of $11/hour. lol I make more than that as a full time, permanent TA.

However, I guess if you are a high school student looking to go to college it might be worth looking into if you plan on majoring in Education.

College at a state university is free in Florida if you live in the state for min. 1 year

What are you talking about no its not. College is free if you go while in HS its called dual enrollment.
