It is 6:45 pm and the temp in Naples now is 78 degrees. To hot for me for October, but better than 80s or 90s this late in the day. The neighborhood KIDS are all outside now. Blowing whistles, rideing bikes, throwing footballs, shooting hoops, etc. I have not heard this much activity, or SEEN, this much activity from the kids in MONTHS AND MONTHS; AND it is school night. They were not outsde this much ALL SUMMER!!!!!!! Kuddos to their intelligent parents.

It seems to me it is the ADULTS who have the problems in Florida, not the CHILDREN. They are the only smart ones here.

THat's funny. The only problem is it gets dark real early here in Orlando during the nice months (fall + winter). It was pretty good today because we had a lot of low clouds and wind. We get two awesome days way below normal and then a week-two weeks of 3-5 degrees above average it seems.

yeah, 75-80 without the humidity. That I would be ok with, but 85 to 95 with a dew point of 77, and humidity to match no thanks...

Looking forward to when this humidity is gone for at least a few months.

Yes, I'm actually happy about the good chance that Florida could have a colder winter this year. Even though, I don't live there, my cousins do and they hate the constant heat and humidity 80% of the time. When I lived in Florida for I'd say 2 years, I remember sometimes in my summer camp we would all feel so miserable and hot, one kid actually started crying while he was out there. LOL.

I'll cry if I have to deal with another summer here starting next April... I'll be moving in May.
