My mom lives in Florida and she has a pool cage. Birds have started landing on her pool cage and pooping.

Is anyone else having this problem and what did you do to solve this?

Don't laugh! You can purchase owl statues which act as "scare crows" like farmers put in crop fields. You would mount one on the top of the pool cage and it will scare the birds away. (They are manufactured specifically for this purpose, to be mounted on poles, roofs, docks, etc.). I swear it works and will solve your problem!

We even had the owls on the pavilions of the school I taught at to keep the birds away.
