I'm in IT and have seen some posters from Florida that said they were in IT. I'm taking a family vacation there soon and wanted to do some job hunting as well. I was wondering if any of you could make recommendations for or against some of the many IT staffing companies with offices in Florida. Thanks in advance for any info.

There's a pretty good concentration of IT positions available in the Orlando/Maitland area. I've had a couple of friends who have been placed or referred to positions by Robert Half Technology, which is a staffing company in the area. I think they also post quite a few positions on monster.com and careerbuilder.com. Once you get out of the Orlando metro area the likelihood of finding an IT position drops dramatically.
