Any recommendations for pest control in the Fort Walton Beach/Mary Esther areas?
We just moved here from New England about 6 months ago and bought a house that apparently the old owners never had pest control done, or at least in recent times. The kitchen was infested with ants. The lawn is infested with ants (mowed the lawn and in the lawn bag were millions of ants crawling around).. Oh, and the lovely "palmetto bugs" and we even have had a few smaller cockroaches!!!! We just moved in! Ew!
Florida Pest is like, $75 for one treatment or something. Is there any company that is good but less expensive? There are a lot of them around here but not sure who is good or not. Heard of Killingsworth, Florida Pest, Bryan, Emerald Coast Pest (I think)...

Thanks!

$60-$80 per visit seems to be the going rate. We pay about $70 per quarter for Terminix to spray for roaches.

For the ants, you can get a big bag of Fire Ant Death at any hardware store, and just keep dumping it onto the mounds until you kill 90% of them and the remaining 10% of them move on to your neighbor's yard.
