I am wondering where would be a good place to live in Florida? Where is the crime low and where are there few snakes and gators? Also where is it affordable to live? I'm from MN and am intrested in possibly moving to FL when I get older.

Well, I'm from MN, so I don't know too much about Florida. I personally think that MN is better. But if you want a good place to live down there, you should consider Tallahassee.

Hernando and Citrus County are relatively low crime but we are part of the Nature Coast so we do have snakes and gators but they are not everywhere.

A 2 bedroom rental can run $500-$700 for a decent to nicer place.

We are about an hour or so from Tampa so if you need to head there for work you will be looking at a decent commute, dependent upon the time traffic may make it longer.

There is not too much work up this way at this time.

We need more information. The criteria you listed fit most of the state.

Spouse? Kids? School age? Will you need a job? Near the beach?

The more information you give us, the better the advice.

I'm not really sure yet. Possibly by the beach but then again hurricane damage is worse. I am just a teenager, so I'm not exactly sure what kind of occupation I'd like yet. Maybe something along the lines of a cartoonist or artist but I'm not sure.
