If I were you, I'd check out StudentsReview or Facebook.
I would think that there would be much more nightlife in Ft Lauderdale, though.

I don't know about that Cil, my son just completed his Freshman year at FSU, and he NEVER complained about the night life there.

Well, my kid is registering there today, and is eager to join your son.
I just hope he doesn't have TOO much fun.

As an FSU Alumnus let me just say that you won't have to worry about finding things to do......
We weren't on all of those "Party School" lists for nothing...

Yeah, no problem finding something to do in Tallahassee (partying). I just wish I remembered more of my years there, LOL.

Yeah, Freshman year especially is a little hazy....
(oddly enough I had my best GPA that year.... Guess I should have continued to drink uncontrollably.. )

Hey Cil, does your son need a place to live? We have a townhouse there that has a vacant room for rent....
And interestingly enough, my son said he wants to transfer to UF next year for his junior year, because FSU is TOO much of a party school.. He did maintain his bright futures status, thank goodness...One year down, 3 to go!

He might need it next year--he's only a lowly freshman.
He'll probably do junior year abroad.
He's got Bright Futures too, and is in one of those Living/Learning communities in a brand new dorm that's never been lived in.
I think it's great that your son is transferring; having that kind of freedom and choice is what our educational system is all about.
Our older kid is in Wisconsin for grad school--you just never know where you might end up.
