Did anyone happen to see the piece nightline did last night about the property tax crisis in Florida? Very interesting. Seems they have called a special session for next month to tackle the issue once again. I at first was all for raising sales tax and getting rid of the property tax until it showed the millionaire home in which the guy was paying over 400,000 yr in taxes and it was put so do you think it is fair to give him a free ride from taxes? Now I am not so sure but something definately needs to be done. I felt sympathy for the young couple who had bought their starter home with 3 bedrooms only to find out now they cant afford to move because of the taxes so now they are stuck and wanting to expand their family.
