It is 8:30 AM on Long Island. It is 50 degrees right now, 1 degree colder than where you are. It rained all day yesterday with temps over freezing. All 18 inches of snow from the blizzard last week is GONE. The sun is shining, and birds are chirping, rabbits are out running around. It feels like a Spring morning.

How it is around here. Very changeable.

Three weeks ago we were in sunny Fort Lauderdale...when we left NY it snowed that night....when we returned to NY it was 25 degrees without the wind chill...and all the dirty snow was there to welcome us back....to make matters worse...it was sunny and 87 degrees when we left..so once again...U R the lucky one...unless of course you love the change of seasons...

It is indeed beautiful here in the panhandle today. Tomorrow will be clear and cold...in the 30's.
no snow, no sleet, no slush or freezing rain...(happy dance!)

It's a little chilly and overcast in Tampa currently. I'm enjoying the cooler weather, but please send me some sunshine!

I'm freezing! My feet are cold, have a blanket over me while typing in my chair. It's 54 here on the east coast of FL.

I understand that 50's are cold when you don't have a furnace, such as many in Florida, but I would rather have that than the 18+ inches of snow on top of the ice the we have gotten over the last few days. We will be lucky if all remnants of this storm leave before May!

Same here. For all my complaints about SFL - now that the holidays are almost over - winter fatigue is going to set in and that white landscape that will last till at least April here - is going to get old - FAST.
60-75 with sun and a light breeze sounds like paradise. Edit: Forgot to add its 11 F here - but there is a bright side - we might get up to 25F when all is said and done and I do see some sun!
