Fountain living
I've owned (or I should say it's been in my family for 70 years) a piece of land, actually 3 building lots in Fountain, Fl for some time now. I plan on moving to the panhandle and wondered about the commute from Fountain to Panama City. Is it a friendly community? Crime? Housing prices? Zoning enforcement? Building a 2000 square foot one level home with a pool would cost in the range of? I prefer to live inland for three reasons; 1. As far inland as Fountain is, it should be more resistant to hurricane damage, 2. I prefer to be away from the beach congestion, yet near enough to go enjoy the beach, 3. I own the land
I'd appreciate comments on my strategy and queries. Thanx. Karl
