Default For insurance, what is considered "inland"?

I've been reading on the forum that HOI may be lower if you live inland. By inland do you mean way inland, like Gainesville or Orlando, or does it include places in south Fla. that aren't right on the beach? thanks!

I'm 25 miles from the west coast inland and was turned down for one insurance because of my proximity to it. I'm not sure what the insurance companies consider as being on the coast anymore.

There might be a few different markers.

I pay a slight (very slight) bit more for being under 10 miles (I am 6 miles in).

logybogy is on a distinguished road
You will only find significant discounts if you live in a non-coastal county. Orange, Lake, Marion, Alachua, Polk fit the bill.
