It's quite the working vacation.......Driving 3-4 hours daily in sometimes heavy traffic to go to school for a few weeks......after that I can kick back a bit and just do my "normal" home renovation work. While at school the wife has already started stripping wallpaper, etc.......the honeydew list is starting.

Frank.

Welcome back, Frank, you have arrived just in time for the spectacular weather Florida is known for! It's been perfect the past few days, and I hope it continues!

Enjoy!

Your home is already a beauty how much renovation could you have to do on a house so beautiful?

Are you kidding......yes, it is nice, but I plan on building another garage, adding to the existing one, completely ripping out the kitchen and doing a new one, redoing the lanai, completely relandscaping the back yard from the house to the pond, adding a hot tub and roofed screened in back patio and all new hardscaping, jackhammering the driveway and putting a new one as wide as the two garages, completely redoing the master bath, removing all popcorn ceilings, repainting the interior, getting rid of all the "Florida pink", replacing the vanity and pink bathroom countertops, installing new landscape curbing all around the house, replacing ALL of the single pane windows, etc, etc.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff, and it will take me a few years, but I got to keep busy.

Frank

We all know who the handy man is now, when we ever get to Florida I know who to call.

I agree, keeping busy is good for you. With your skills I am sure you will have plenty of things do to.

Take the wife out for a nice steak dinner and she might drop off some of those honeydew things on your list.

The main thing is for you to have fun and enjoy being in Florida.

Thank you Gypsy......it is nice to know my snowblowing days are over for a few months now.....

Sunny, wifey prefers that I cook them on the grill myself and after 30 years, that honeydew list has NEVER gotten smaller.
She has given me a reprieve during this school time, which I am thankful for.

Frank
