I also would like to know the do's and don'ts about pets. How many dogs or cats are you allowed?

Thank you GSpeed but they do not address their rules but neither does DEL WEB. I have even e mailed both of them.I quess they want you to visit them.We lived in one 55 + in CA when I was 52 and hubby was 55 we were allowed two pets. I hated living there at the time but now 10 years later it sounds good as long as I can keep my dogs.

I know that The Plantation allows dogs......I'm sure many of the communities do. Many of the retirement communities are featured on the forum that is part of Mike Kelley's site, [

Thank you . It is just so hard to get the info from the retirement areas. When we moved to one in CA we got all the HOA rules when we decided to buy. One of the rules was to never have your Garage door open and the one time we did security came knocking on our door.

lorriem, I've received confirmation that The Villages do allow two pets (I guess at a given time) but many residents have more than the allowed two!

Thank you that is what our one in CA did also but when we moved to FL I got my third dog and after three years I could not get rid of her or the other two.If it is in the rules they do have the right to make you follow them and that is such a big gamble to take.I must rethink this.
