I just looked at their website and they have an office close to me. I sent them an email and plan on looking into what they do. Actually sounds like a good concept. There used to be a course at a local college on building your own house, how to hire sub-contractors, permits and so on.

At the very least you have control of materials and costs as well as how the work is done even if you don't yourself lift a finger. Left to their own devices contractors will use the cheapest materials and cut corners when ever they can. It is money in their pockets.

I am going to check out thet UBuildIt website also. There is another one that I was looking into before we moved down here. Its called American Home Partners. We started the whole process with them and they are really nice to work with. If we didnt end up movng down here, we would be in the middle of building our house.

I am still not sure about trying this type of thing here in Florida.I am so worried about taxes and insurance here.
