Default High Schools in Sebring, FL

We're moving to Sebring this summer and was wondering what Sebring High School was like. We have a 15 year old son and we've been told the public school system is not too good.

Also, are there any non-religious private schools in the area anyonw would recommend?

Yes, Sebring and Highlands County school's do suck. I'm a Sebring High school graduate/Class of 02. GO BLUE STREAKS!

The public schools are graded every year and range from a "C" to "D" school.

Before I left, I can't remember any private secular/non-religious schools/academies in the area. The only private schools I knew were religious (Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Non-Denominational, 7th Day Adventist) The area does have a public college though (www.southflorida.edu) after he graduates that he could attend if he did not want to move away.
