My husband has never recieved more than a 5% raise in the past 5 years but our insurance alone has doubled in the past 3 years. We are literally going backwards in the world. I don't know what to cut back on. You have to eat, you have to have power.

We are blessed up here in NW Florida, we received over 12% in pay raises and additional bonus this year. Our cost of living still is less than central & south Florida. My insurance triple to $1,500 but I got a new roof for under $400.00 from my insurance 2 years ago. Move this way and you should find our paradise....
This weekend the gas prices dropped to $2.80 a gallon, everyone had their boats out and many good things happening.
