The uninsured motorist coverage will pay for medical bills and pain and suffering if you are hit by an uninsured driver.
The uninsured motorist property damage coverage will pay for property damage if you are hit by an uninsured driver.
Stacking generally applies to Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist (injury only) coverage.
Stacking adds together your limit for that coverage, per vehicle in the household, on the same policy for claims.
Eg: Let's say you have 15,000/30,000 UM/UIM coverage (which means max 15k per person/max 30k of coverage per loss). If STACKABLE, with another vehicle in the house, also with that same coverage, same limit -- you would then have 30,000/60,000 available to you if needed for a claim. Not guaranteed, mind you, just available. If not stacked, you only get the coverage of the car you're in, in this case the 15/30.
