If the Citizens of Orange county would simply stand up to the Sherrif and demand that they figure out a way to stop crime rather than patroling the roads for speeders, we wouldn't have a problem.

I don't buy into this crap that cops setting speed traps and then just waiting for people to drive over the speed limit leads to a huge number of busts of criminals.

How about this. Instead of setting speed traps, set "burglary traps" or run sting operations at ATM's and convenience stores to catch violent criminals. How friggin smart would that be?

How about some real police work in lieu of traffic-cops and crime scene investigators. How about our legislators changing the laws so that cops have immunity from shooting anyone actively involved in a violent crime? How about making our jails and prisons a true Hell-on-Earth? No TV, no games, no athletics, only hard physical work?

How about immediately deporting any illegal alien caught doing anything wrong?

How about paying cops bonuses for stopping crimes while they are happening? If a team of cops break up a robbery, they each get a $500 bonus. Do you think they will still be sitting on the side of a road trapping speeders?

How about deputizing private cops to protect private property and giving them immunity to shoot anyone during the commission of a crime on the property they are guarding?

How about taking away the right of any person caught committing any felony from suing the state or private property owner for injury or death?

LET'S GET OUR LEGISLATORS TO PASS LAWS TO STOP CRIME - If the Supreme court doesn't like our laws, then let them say so, and then we can elect a president to put the right justices on the benches that don't worry about cracking bats over a felon's heads.

Wow, DH and I were at Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island the night before. It was PACKED - all the parking lots were full and we had to ride around waiting for a car to back out of a space to park at all. We also saw ALOT of security officers everywhere. Amazing that they would pull this at such a public place!
