Default De Funiak Springs

Anybody looking for a small town in Florida Panhandle should check this place out. The population is about now 5,100. The city has the second roundest lake in the world which is in the historic part of town.. De Funiak Springs ~~~Resident

Default Nice Town

You had me curious so I had to see if there was a bit of info on the internet about the town. I checked out the detailed profile and they have the nicest pic of the library with all the flowers around it. I was just curious~it says there is a population increase of nearly 3,000 people during the day because they work there. Do they have factories there or what draws that many workers to such a small town?

There are no Factories here. The biggest empolyer here is a Wal*Mart. We are 30 mins from the beach. I think they mean 3,000 people travel through the town to go to the beaches.

[moderator CUT] It is a really nice place to live all away from the hussel and bussel of the big towns. The closest city with over 50 thousand people are Pensacola or Dothan, More than an hour and a halfs drive to get to both. And were about 125 miles out of Tallahassee.
