With everyone leaving Florida maybe the state should hold a "land grab" like they did on the Oklahoma Frontier in the late 1800's.
As bewildering as Florida seems today with runaway property and, the only way I would be worried about it's long term health was if Florida was near North Dakota.
I can see how housing costs ramped up,.... supply and demand. What I can't figure is the utter stupidity in setting property rates so high so quickly, knowing the prices would adjust in time. Paying high market prices is one thing, but getting clipped with grossly inflated property tax increases year in and year out is inconceivable. I hope these folks were voted out or given a blanket party....
