Any season....PARTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)
Feeling bored one day, I spontaneously decided to have a dinner party and invited a bunch of people over for 4 or 5 days later. Twenty-four people attended. It was exhausting, but a lot of fun. Friends and relatives who had heard about each other for years finally met one another.
It was exhausting, but worth it.

It would have to be Thanksgiving. I guess I've had 18-20 at times. I had an awesome graduation party for my son for about 125, but I can't say I actually cooked everything myself.
I had 34 ppl over for thanksgiving two years ago. It was a lot of work but luckily I was a SAHM back then so I was able to spread the work out over a few days and the day of the only thing I had to worry about was the turkey and getting the tables set and decorated. It was great fun!
But now I went back to work, if my husband suggested we have that many people over for a formal sit down again I'd have to laugh in his face.
We regularly have 30 or 40 ppl over for BBQ's but it's much more casual and the guys usually take turns manning the grill and people bring dishes so it's not a big deal.
25-When we were back in NY and had the whole family-both sides for Thanksgiving-maybe Easter too-can't remember-definitely Thanksgiving.
