Tomatoes
How often do you eat tomatoes? Do you cook with them?
When tomatoes went sky-high and were picked green, I stopped buying them. But now Romas are reasonable, and I eat one every day, and look forward to standing by the sink and slurping it down. They're quite good, if you don't mind a bit of mealiness in the texture. I keep a couple out of the fridge, to ripen a bit more and I like them at room temp.
But I never cook with fresh tomatoes. Tomato paste is so cheap, and is pure, and unsalted, so is perfect for every use unless you want to see visible bits of tomato in your dish.

I eat them almost daily. Either in a salad, or I make a sauce out of them. A simple marinara or some Sunday gravy.

Actually, I only really eat them in the growing season here from my garden and the local Farmer's Markets. IMO, hothouse tomatoes aren't all that good and seem to be waxy.

I'm sure I eat tomatoes in some fashion every day.
I made 5 batches of spaghetti sauce with fresh tomatoes last night. I just made a small batch of fresh salsa for tonight's dinner. I eat salad daily and always use tomatoes.
I love tomatoes, especially the fresh ones. They are dirt cheap around here.

Everyday in a variety of ways. We get a multitude of varieties every Thursday and Sunday mornings from the Farmers Market. Shady Lady variety is my favorite. Best way to eat fresh room temp tomatoes is in a BLT sandwich IMO.

Can't forget a good bruschetta...spread it on some toasted Italian bread with some vino on the side.
